Min Pins come in 3 basic colors, dilutes of those colors and then stags of any of those colors. Basic colors are Black with Tan or Rust makings, Chocolate with Tan or Rust markings, and Reds. Dilutes are born when you have the right kind of recessive genes in both parents. You can look up a chart but here are the basics: The dilute of Black is Blue. The dilute of Chocolate is Fawn. The dilute of Red is Tan. Stag dogs come about when you have a coat of one color infused with hairs of another color. Stag Red is a Red dog with black hairs running through its coat.
